I've had the privilege of working closely with Andrey since joining my first commercial project as a UX/UI Designer at BasaSolutions.
As a Design Lead, he combines strong UX thinking, product understanding, UI expertise, and a deep attention to detail. What impressed me most was not only his design skills, but also the way he approaches mentorship. He never simply provides answers. Instead, he asks the right questions, encourages exploration, and helps me arrive at the best solution myself.
Working on a complex SaaS platform, I learned a great deal from him about both UX and UI design. Whether it was exploring multiple design directions, maintaining consistency through a design system, or thinking through edge cases and future scenarios, he consistently pushed the work beyond the obvious solution. One of his favorite approaches is: "This is good, but let's see how we can make it even better," and that mindset has had a huge impact on my growth as a designer.
Beyond his professional expertise, he is patient, supportive, calm under pressure, and genuinely invested in helping others succeed. He creates an environment where feedback feels constructive, mistakes become learning opportunities, and continuous improvement becomes part of the process.
I highly recommend Andrey to any team looking for a thoughtful designer, strong product thinker, and exceptional design leader.
