v1.1 · Updates page

Lead

I wanted to treat the site as a product, so it now keeps a public log of changes: what I changed and why.

Added
  • Updates page with a release log
  • “This site as a product” block in the Works footer linking to it
Changed
  • Works footer trimmed to three audience blocks

v1.0 · Rebuilt from Framer in code

Lead

Over three days I moved the site from Framer to code: more freedom to try ideas, no Framer subscription, faster updates with Claude Code and Claude Design, and full control over media performance and fixes. Along the way I reworked the look, the CV, and the Now page.

Added
  • Static pages on Next.js
  • Projects and recommendations as MDX files
  • Cookieless analytics (Vercel Web Analytics)
  • Recommendations on the Now page
  • Hover state and blur placeholder for Media
  • CV language follows your timezone or browser language
Changed
  • Softer colors for light and dark themes (follows the system setting)
  • New typeface, cleaner and more minimal
  • Layout adapts more fluidly across screen sizes
  • Media component carried over from Framer and optimized for faster loading
  • CV restyled to match the site and made more ATS-friendly
